I'm a Seattle native, but I spent most of my school years in Colorado. In 1994, after an Alaskan adventure involving sled dogs and aviation, I came back to Washington, more specifically to Whidbey Island, and I never left. This has been home ever since. My two daughters were born and raised here. My family is here. This is our community.
In 2006 with both of my girls in school, I became a full-time real estate broker. I truly enjoy this profession, and I care deeply about supporting my clients in these important transactions and life changes. I have been involved in the Realtors' Professional organizations at the local, state, and national levels. I eagerly seek out continuing education in my field and employ that knowledge to better represent my clients with integrity, professionalism, and expertise.
Smaller communities depend to a great extent upon the efforts of volunteers, and I have embraced that simple truth. I currently serve on the board of the Island Shakespeare Festival, a non-profit theater organization, and have been active with my local Realtors' Board, including serving as president. My longest-running volunteer commitment was serving for over 19 years as a volunteer fire officer and emergency medical technician with our local fire district. This is a wonderful place to get involved; there are so many things to do. Some of my other passions include music, theater, and gardening. Plus there's coffee. Just ask, I'll share my favorite places with you!
Whether you're relocating here, moving within the community, or moving on to adventures elsewhere, I can help. If you are looking to buy land and build, I can help with that too. (I've built two houses while living here, and it's a great process!) I'm happy to be your real estate advisor and put my expertise to work for you.
